Accessibility Statement

We want anyone to be able to browse the wall, read a spec sheet, and buy a guitar here — whether you use a screen reader, navigate by keyboard, or need larger text. If something on this site gets in your way, tell us and we’ll fix it.

The standard we build to

We aim to meet WCAG 2.1 Level AA (Web Content Accessibility Guidelines) — the benchmark referenced under the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) for websites.

What we’ve done

  • Text and background colors across the site are tested to meet AA contrast ratios.
  • Every form field — including the whole checkout — has a properly linked label that screen readers announce.
  • The entire site is usable by keyboard, with a visible focus outline on every link, button, and field.
  • A “Skip to main content” link lets keyboard users jump past the navigation.
  • Images carry descriptive alternative text.
  • Animation and smooth scrolling are reduced automatically if your device asks for less motion.
  • Pages use real headings and landmarks so screen readers can navigate by structure.

Where we’re not there yet

We test with automated tools and by hand, but automated testing can’t catch everything, and we haven’t completed a formal third-party audit — so we describe this site as partially conformantwith WCAG 2.1 AA rather than claiming full conformance. Two specific areas we don’t fully control:

  • The payment window. Card details are handled inside a secure window run by our payment processor, Helcim. Its accessibility is theirs, not ours. You can always place an order by phone instead — see below.
  • Some product photosare served from our Reverb listings, and their descriptive text can be thinner than the photos we shoot and upload ourselves. We’re improving these as listings are refreshed.
